A new and easy way to grab a bundle of our bars – unwrapped. All made with Fairtrade & Organic Ghanaian cocoa beans from ABOCFA cooperative.

Choose your quantity and your variety, or choose ‘custom’ and list your own mix of bars in the text box below. Easy peasy. Save time, save packaging and save money the more you bundle! We will add a handwritten note with your order to let you know which bars you have!

Please note : Each bundle ordered will be stacked and packed together as in photos above. Your bundle will include a list to let you know in what order the bars are stacked & will include basic ingredient information.

Our full range of bars to choose from in a custom order (from darkest to lightest) is: Pure 100%*, Eighty-Eight 88%, Dark with Nibs, Garden Mint*, Seventy-Five 75%, Chai + Chilli, Salt + Seaweed, Coffee + Cocoa, Dark Orange, Creamy Oat, Goats’ Milk, Irish Milk.

See below for more details. All the bars are sweetened using fairtrade organic coconut sugar except *Pure 100% which has no sweetener and *Garden Mint which is sweetened with organic Xylitol & Lucuma powder.

Exploding Tree HQ is run by head chocolate maker Allison Roberts and is located around the back of our own home in beautiful Clonakilty, West Cork (Ireland). All of our chocolate is made in-house from-the-bean by roasting, winnowing and grinding Fairtrade organic cacao. Our favourite sweetener is coconut sugar, we use it because it is better for your body & the planet (low GI & UN declared it the world’s most sustainable sweetener) and we love its caramel flavour.

Small Business Big Heart

We believe that small is beautiful and that small(er) businesses (and bicycles!) are the answer to so many problems. Rooted in community, we are able to adapt quickly to change and can manage and minimise waste much more effectively than big business (and we don’t need to fly to meetings!). All of our packaging is biodegradable or compostable & we love to reduce packaging waste further by refilling your bags here are the HQ or through bulk and minimally wrapped products via our web shop.

We love to meet our customers, to give workshops and talks. Visits are by prior arrangement only, drop us a line if you are in the neighbourhood!
