A small business, a big heart”. The motto of this back-of-the-house factory can’t be more relevant. We enjoyed this intimate experience with Allison as she explained the production of chocolate with such passion ! She found great alternatives and recipies to make a unique chocolate. Eco-friendly, sustainable production, fair trade are as many qualities that can be taste in her products so as in her speech. Although we were just a couple to have been welcomed, Allison had plenty to say and activities to do to make an one strong hour experience. We came back with our own-maded mendiants. Recommended for every chocolate lover, curious people, eco-thinkers, small business enthusiasts !

We had a great time with Alison! She was warm and welcoming and very passionate for her career, which was infectious! We learned a lot and just enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful spot in clonakilty- no problems finding it with google maps. Ate a lot of delicious chocolate and then bought a lot more to take home! 🙂 I would highly highly recommend this activity if you’re in the cork/west cork area. We loved it.

Off the beaten path, amazing chocolate! This was a fun experience because Allison is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. We learned about the process of making chocolate from bean to bar, tasted many variations of her chocolate as well as the cacao and cocoa bean in different stages, and we were able to make our own take home chocolate treats. She was super accommodating for our group. It is a bit of a drive from Killarney (where we were staying and where Airbnb made the experience suggestion) so be aware that it will take you over an hour to get there if you are also staying in Killarney. I think it was absolutely worth it and Clonakilty is a fun little town worth seeing.

A brilliant experience! We got a private visit to Allison’s little chocolate factory and we loved it! Specially my 5yrs old! We got to taste lots of different chocolates and make our own ones! Amazingly good! I would highly recommend it and I will definitely get more Allison’s chocolate! Specially the oat milk one ! Thank you Allison!

Myself and my boyfriend had the chance to visit this little chocolate factory and discovered things about cacao and chocolate we didn’t know before. Allison is a great host, with true passion for what she does and she’s able to pass this passion on to other people. She took us through the process of making chocolate from beans and answered our curiosities. We got to taste different types of the chocolate she makes and we also prepared some small chocolates ourselves.. It was a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone who would like to know more about chocolate and try non conventional ones. Thanks Allison!

An interesting and enlightening experience learning about and experiencing chocolate with Allison. She generously shared her decades long and deep knowledge of all aspects chocolate, that despite her youth.

I really enjoyed this experience and found it to be both educational and delicious. I’ve done a chocolate tour in the past but Allison was able to explain things as deeply as we were interested. The chocolate tasting experience was very interactive and she spoke of the connection her craft had to both the local and international market. It was a brilliant way to learn more about the bean-to-bar movement. Thank you so much!
